LiquidSky is committed to steadily improving their Cloud Gaming Platform. While there is always room to improve, they excel at making their Cloud Gaming experience easy. It’s essentially plug & play. Update 0.3.5 focuses on improving the streaming experience.
It’s All About Quality
Update 0.3.5 is all about fixing bugs in their Streaming App. Their biggest improvement relates to their Quality Presets. Before today, you might have noticed that things seemed a little off with their Medium and High presets. That’s because they were swapped. Update 0.3.5 resolves this and adds the correct bitrate and resolution to each setting. They also enhanced the responsiveness of the Home Page when using a 2560×1440 resolution.
LiquidSky also corrected some problems with their referral system. Some users reported not being able to find their referral code after making their first purchase. Other users were not receiving their referral credit unless they logged out and then back in. Update 0.3.5 addresses both of these issues.
Today’s update is just the beginning of what LiquidSky has planned for their platform. In the near future, you should be able to select an “automatic” preset for streaming quality. This should ensure a smooth streaming experience without excessive tweaking. They also plan to update their Nvidia Drivers, implement a new network protocol for reduced latency, add a controller-friendly UI, and fix games that repeatedly ask for licence authentication.
